Description
Holtzfeld houses from Frankish Germany. They always look like they are from out of a fairy tale. Which I suppose they are as a lot of them of them were built 600 years ago. This particular on was home to a group of early medieval suffragettes called 'Beguines', a community of woman run by woman and for woman. No men involved. Apparently they were very popular 500 years ago.
