The colour of rock pools by cprmay The colour of rock pools by cprmay
The three sisters, iconic hill on the Dingle Peninsula, against the midsummer sunset. A cloud of midges made this a difficult shot!

Great shot, midges, what is the point of them other than annoying people taking pictures

This is absolutely a stunning photo! It looks so magical and hard at the same time.
And finally I got to see what The Three Sisters look like. I came across with it in one of Eoin Colfrer's books and have ever since wondered what kind of hill that really is. Thanks for helping me out with this matter too :)

Wow, I am so glad you knew what the Three Sisters were, there are five peaks, actually, I was standing on the Mother or Sybil Head and then there is the Loom and then the Three Sisters... make what you will of this, I am sorry to say I have not read any Artimus Fowl books yet, but they are on the list.... Thanks:shamrock:

You do, for sure... they are a bit like the moon visible from all over the place... All you need is a good tree or a lake and it works.... :)

Nah, the sunsets here don't have that much red in them. It's mostly blues fading into yellow and orange. Speaking of which, the summer solstice is coming up on Wednesday...I'll have to take pictures!

Definitely. And maybe at the winter solstice or something, though it'll probably be too cold for me, lol.

The colours are wonderful. It's as if the sun lights were lifting up the green edges of the rocks. Really beautiful shot.
