The Atlantic swell was increased by the high tide and the gales producing massive explosions where the wave hit the rocks. This was about 15 meters. See the seagull on the right of the explosion.
Your photos of Ireland are fabulous!!! Makes me want to schedule a new trip. I really love the west coast. It is so unique and I have experiences the Cliffs of Mohr in bright August sun and the foggy haze of March...I will be watching
